How to Use Feather Lashes
Here’s our go-to mapping guide for express anime sets using Feather Lashes:
1. Placement:
Start by applying 6–10 spikes per eye, evenly spaced along the top layer of lashes. Use a lash mirror to double-check balance and direction as you go.
2. Fill-in:
Use shorter lashes (at least 3mm shorter) to fill in the gaps. For a clean, defined look, opt for closed fans or 0.20 flat lashes. Want more texture or fluff? Try narrow promade fans or long stem premades.
3. Less is More:
Aim for 50–70% coverage. Feather Lashes are bold enough on their own – full coverage can easily overwhelm the look. Keep it airy and textured for the most flattering result.

What to Look Out for When Using Feather Lashes
While Feather Lashes create an incredibly dramatic and eye-catching effect, they’re best used in moderation. We don’t recommend building a set with 100% Feather Lashes, as it can easily overpower the look. Instead, mix them with other lashes – such as closed fans, classic, or flat lashes – to balance the texture and achieve a more refined, wearable result. This also helps you customise each set to suit your client’s eye shape and preferences.
Because they’re made from ultra-soft, ultra-lightweight material, Feather Lashes require a bit of extra care during application. Handle them gently when picking them up from the tray, just as you would with 0.03 or 0.05 volume lashes. Avoid squeezing too tightly with your tweezers, and take your time placing them with precision.
